Then it started to get scruffy and shabby, so we decided to buy a new kitchen, but we were amazed at how much it would cost. Companies were advertising new kitchens for £20,000, £50,000 - where would we get that kind of money? We've already got bad credit, nobody would give us a loan and to be honest, we don't really want to take on any more debts.
